Did Mom always tell you not to play with your food? Well, we will give you an opportunity to do just that. Come explore the fanciful world of food art! We’ll show you how to create an edible color wheel and how to use food to create dyes. You’ll also make fruit faces and decorate cookies and take photos so your creations can become unique digital art (food spoils, but art is forever)!

Payment must be made at time of registration.

All classes are limited in size so we recommend reservations.
Cherish reserves the right to cancel any workshop. Workshops with fewer than 2 attendees are subject to cancellation. Attendees of workshops canceled by Cherish will be issued full refund or credit for another class.

more than 2 weeks notice (refund issued to original tender type)
less than 2 weeks but 48 hours or more prior to workshop (store credit issued to gift card)
less than 48 hours (no refunds)

A NOTE FOR ALL CLASSES:

If you have any particular tools you like to use such as special scissors, paper trimmers, punches or blades feel free to bring them with you. We have several kinds in the studio for your use as well if you need them.

Need ideas for ways to brighten your summer events? In this class, you will learn how to make a beautiful bouquet of flowers out of paper and candy. You’ll learn techniques to take small items and objects that will help personalize the centerpiece to your unique event. We will also paint and decorate a terra cotta pot to hold and arrange all the beautiful flowers. These bouquets make a great gift or a distinctive splash of color for your Summer barbecues, picnics, and parties!

Explore the basic techniques of scrapbooking to quickly transform photos into wonderful scrapbook pages! Learn to lay out your pages, mat your photos, and journal. Expect to complete a 2-page layout.

Students should bring at least five photos.

Did you take Scrapbooking 101? Come put your new skills to the test and learn some intermediate techniques that will take your projects to the next level! New techniques include using chalks, paper tearing, die-cuts, eyelets, brads, embossing, and more. Expect to complete a 2-page layout.
